If you’re anything like the CWJ Team, your eyes have been glued to the TV, watching some of the best competitors in the world impress us with their athletic prowess in the Paris Olympics. It’s amazing how we all become armchair experts at the intricacies of scoring rhythmic gymnastics ball routines every four years!

As we marvel at the incredible feats of these athletes, it’s fascinating to see how innovation plays a crucial role in their success. One striking example is the evolution of swimsuit designs. For example, in the 1992 Olympics, swimmers wore minimalistic suits to reduce drag.

By the 2000 Games, Speedo introduced the Fastskin line, inspired by shark skin, which incorporated advanced materials to mimic the unique texture and structure of underwater predators.
